ABOUT VOGELSTOCKERHOF
Comming both from a horse background since earliest youth Julia and Mario Pernice have been breeding gaited horses since around 10 years when they bought the former commodity of the early cisterians 2011: VOGELSTOCKERHOF. Following today we are looking back on more than 20 years of gaited horse breeding.
Starting our breeding program with peruvians and paso iberoamericans we switched our program due to DSLD in peruvians around 2015 to Speed Racking Horses / Single Footing Horses.
As the first european breeder we started to import this amazing breed and managed to establish the speed racking horses as a breed regarding european breeding law, after 5 years of hard work finally in 2020. Today we have the biggest herd in europe. You will find top and true Single Footing lines of Reverend Homer, Hot Patches, Pretty Boy Floyd, Speed, Chico, On a Highway to Hell, Big Blue Madness, Sierra Kosmos, Rowdy Rebel Gold, Rawhides Rufio, Drummerboy and many more on our pastures. Our breeding program differs to others that we reject all kind of pacing and padded lines without a natural 4 beat gait - regarding stallions AND mares.
Speed Racking horses are unique between the gaited horse breeds in combining true 4 beat rack, speed and will to go with a head full of sense to go to a show today and hit the trails in the same evening.
Driven by the dream to combine the breathtaking beauty of the southern wine route area with the history of this property and their passion for extraordinary horses, they are working since then to open this treasures to the public.
